We are expanding our team, and we're ready to hire another hygienist! Are you tired of working in an office where your coworkers never take responsibility for their job? Do you feel like your practice is just going through the motions with no attempt at self-improvement? Are you rushed through your work to the point where you can't do your job to your own standards? Finally, we care deeply about food security, and are proud to be partnering with the Northampton Survival Center to donate a month's worth of free groceries for every new patient who comes in for a comprehensive exam.
While we understand this might not be the ideal environment for everyone, we're hoping that the right hygienist will feel right at home here.
Although a full-time hygienist would be preferred, I am open to both part-time and full-time applicants.
We do not work on weekends, and have one late day per week (the rest are early).
The hourly range is based on how much time you would like for prophy, SRP, and perio maintenance appointments.
The best hygienist for the position will be a friendly, clinically focused individual, who is ready to grow.
A current Massachusetts hygiene license, and CPR certification at the time of hire are a must.
You also need to be comfortable treating mild to moderate periodontal disease with scaling and root planing or periodontal maintenance when recommended (usually around a third of our patients as we have a mostly adult patient base).
We require timeliness, flexibility, teamwork, cleanliness, organization, and a service-oriented attitude.
Everyone here is expected to help each other if they have the time.
