THE OPPORTUNITY:
We have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team of professionals.
Although working knowledge of high end custom residential millwork, along with custom furniture projects is highly preferable, a motivated individual willing and eager to learn is what we are seeking.
The ideal candidate needs to be extremely well organized, have the ability to work well with a variety of personalities, be motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player - but have the strength and ability to work autonomously.

This Project Manager will have much interaction with all the Project Managers (PM) and/or Department Heads in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure cost, schedule, document control and quality standards are met.
This role will assist in estimating, sales, software integration, research, and overall project management, while overseeing the documentation of all aspects of each of the specific projects.
This role will require individual initiative and the ability to work with a team to get the job done.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Duties may include some of the following on an assortment of projects:
Coordinate, understand, and communicate all aspects of projects from shop drawings through fabrication, finishing, delivery and installation.
Coordinate the development of shop drawings through clear communication with the contractors and designers involved.
Also include VCA installer for drawing review if needed.
Coordinate the resources and activities required to complete shop projects within budgetary limitations and time constraints such as production scheduling, staffing, sub-contractors, equipment, quality control and inventory control.
Communicate project life cycle and any updates or changes throughout the project timeline with the respective internal stakeholders.
In addition to the metal department it could include finishing, furniture, millwork, logistics and drafting departments.
Create purchase orders and place orders with suppliers Work with the other project managers to ensure that inventories and job specific materials are maintained at their optimal level.
Partner with managers and employees to analyze the most efficient way to meet the production standards and deadlines.
Determine the sequence of production and whether overtime is necessary.
Conduct project introduction meetings with team members and drafting to review drawings and procedures.
Create finish sample requests, and follow through entire process, ensuring accurate sample information.
Source out specialty material and hardware vendors - sending out inquiries for pricing, specs and samples.
Organize project specific hardware library for shop use, with specs, photos and installation instructions.
Updating projects in Project Management software and daily follow up Handle voice and email correspondences promptly in addition to maintaining records.
Travel and attend job site meetings if necessary.
Attend meetings to discuss goals.
Update and maintain any pertinent paperwork and drawings to be turned in at the end of project.
Read and review architectural drawings to become familiar with scope, details, and overall project requirements.
Review project estimate and supportive material to identify subs and materials.
Read contracts to become familiar with terms and conditions.
Help maintain organizational systems including Innergy, (our ERP software program),schedule updates, and track reports.
Interface with subcontractors.
Work to promote positive subcontractor relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors.
Maintain and track all data in Innergy with proficiency.
Provide onsite installation direction in accordance to site schedules and expectations.
Conduct close out meetings when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
At least 5 years' experience in project management.

You will also need analytical skills to be able to solve problems that may come up during a typical work day.
You will be analyzing data and making decisions that affect the project on a regular basis.
Experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe, Bluebeam and DWG TrueView functionality preferred.
AutoCad, Solidworks, skills and knowledge of Innergy software a plus.
Team player required - A self-starter who can anticipate what is needed and does it without direction.
High level of organization skills with attention to detail a must.
Previous experience in Metal, Woodworking - Millwork and/or Furniture Making Projects a plus Proficiency in accounting/budgeting/tracking Excellent time management skills - the ability to work several projects, with several people simultaneously Ability to understand architectural drawings.
