Green Business Program Manager

For more than 35 years, Center for EcoTechnology has helped people and businesses in Massachusetts save energy and reduce waste. We are hiring a key member of the team that works with businesses who want to reduce costs and improve environmental performance through a variety of measures including electric and natural gas energy efficiency and waste management such as recycling, and composting. The Program Manager will ensure that waste management programs deliverables are fulfilled as promised and provide technical assistance to high value customers.
Identifies opportunities with key customers and develops partnerships to further the relationships.
Develops employees through motivation, counseling, skills development and technical knowledge development.
Acts as a resource in resolving customer issues brought to the department by utilizing process knowledge and strong communication skills.
Communicates program outcomes and status in a clear, effective and timely manner to necessary parties in the business unit and to customers.
Produces newsletters, websites, and other outreach and education practices and materials to fulfill program objectives.
We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to the non-profit community mission of CET. Must have a Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences or related field and minimum 3 years managing or administering multifaceted programs or projects with numerous deliverable and deadlines. Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of commercial waste or recycling and familiarity with waste management programs.
To qualify, you must have minimum 5 years of management/supervisory experience with the ability to set goals, schedules and work-plans to be followed by staff for the achievement of deliverables. Minimum 2 years business development experience with success in developing and implementing strategies to market program components. You will need the ability to identify opportunities to improve program delivery process and integrate those improvements throughout the department.
This is a full-time salaried exempt position with benefits. To be successful in this job, you must have excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Must be able to manage multiple customers and partners. Must be a problem solver with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative style. Excellence in Microsoft Office and Internet. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical partners. Must be able to foster teamwork, set clear goals, and inspire others to work toward outcomes.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
