The L3 KEO Intern Education Program is designed to provide students with practical work assignments that will supplement their academic training\. These assignments will provide interns with opportunities to expand their technical knowledge by exposure to the practical business and technical world, thus qualifying the intern students for more responsible positions upon graduation\.
L3 KEO is looking for a Marketing & Communications Intern for summer to provide support to our Business Development Team and to support internal public relations\. This exciting position will support the Marketing and Business Development Team on the delivery of programs and services while learning Marketing practices and principals and develop a working knowledge of Marketing information and process systems\. This position will support internal public relations tasks like spot lighting employees and improving our conference room look and feel to match our culture and strategy\. You will also support the update and creation of KEO marketing material and may support some of the upcoming trade shows and events coming up\.
Functions include:
+ Maintain marketing processes, procedures and supporting documentation\.
+ Execute small project assignments\.
+ Update and create marketing material
+ Support upcoming trade shows
+ Adhere to compliance and mandatory requirements

+ Minimum Education Requirement: Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college and working towards a Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field\.
+ Minimum Grade Point Average: 3\.0 or equivalent
+ Knowledge of Marketing practices, programs, and services with an interest to pursue the profession\.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear concise reports
+ Highly proficient computer technology capabilities including but not limited to Microsoft Office products
+ Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
